Prayers In Covid Times
I started this concept in 2020, during the pandemic and finished in 2022. I wanted to have four depictions, equaling the four directions, of peace and prayer for the native tribes in the four corners region of the southwest: Navajo, Ute, Hopi and Paiute. I wanted to sell this piece and donate a quarter of the earnings to the tribes, most likely through a local chapter based in Cortez CO or perhaps somewhere else like Gallup New Mexico.
